Bible studies are designed to promote gospel growth through Christian community. We believe that attending church gatherings on The Lord's Day absolutley necessary and sufficient for growth, but attending church is not sufficient for individual Christians to fulfill the richness of the various "one another" commands in the New Testament (Acts 2:42-47; Rom. 12:13; 15:14; Gal. 6:2; 1 Thess. 5:11; Heb. 10:25; 1 Pet. 4:10; etc.). Growth Groups are a vehicle to facilitate this kind of mutual ministry.
